La Truie qui File is one of the oldest restaurant in Chartres.
Chartres has a very old history; thus you can find there Roman ruins (traces of amphitheatre) and of course its famous cathedral.You can spend hours by walking in the streets of the old city or along the Loir river or just join one of the pilgrimage to the Cathedral (one of the most famous is the students pilgrimage the take place by the beginning of spring and gathers thousands of students).
It is also a central place to discover the Beauce region either by car, bicyle, canoë... or flying balloon, glider...
