Stand By Me
One of the most beautifull movie ever made.
These are NOT my kids. They are railway kids, in Normandy.
It is a century old railway working only on weekends, it takes you from Etretat to Les Loges (8 kilometres), across the country, or "vallon". A vallon is what preceeds geologycally a drop-out of cliffs into the ocean.
I was surprised to see these small boys handling these mechanical things. They were about five, all blonds and kindda dirty. Actually, the boy in the front looks a lot like the late River Phoenix, when he played in this movie at age 10. Paix à son Ame.
