Photographer's Note

I guess this guy is speding most of his days on the front place of the Notre-Dame Cathedral because each time I went there I could see him. He's usually feeding the birds and attracting the tourists who want to take nice shots with them.

At that very moment, he was discussing with a russian lady after having spent about ten minutes playing with her daughter, teaching her how to feed the small birds. Both parents were very pleased to see that special moment.

I used the flash to have a correct exposure since the low winter sun was in his back, creating that nice light in his hair (nice for my taste at least...).

Converted into B&W, tones and levels adjusted then USM applied. No cropping.
