Les jardiniers du Jardin du Luxembourg ont planté les massifs de fleurs pour faire place à une composition estivale tonique qui met de la gaîté dans les grands parterres du Sénat.

Le choix des plantes est délicat car celles-ci doivent assurer une floraison de longue durée de juin à fin octobre soit près de cinq mois. Or aucune plante ne fleurit de façon continue pendant une telle durée. C’est pourquoi la composition des massifs est étudiée en tenant compte des dates de floraisons successives des différentes espèces. Cette année le jaune et est à l’honneur dans les Grand Parterres situés devant le Sénat.

La variété des couleurs permet à l’aide d’une vingtaine de plantes d’obtenir un camaïeu de fleurs et de feuillages jaunes avec certaines plantes dont l’originalité frappera le promeneur (ricin, fenouil, pennisetum, tabac, pyrèthre, …). Le secret de la réussite d’une telle composition est d’apporter une petite touche de bleu ciel avec la plantation de sauges et d’héliotropes. L’ensemble de la composition est allégé en mêlant des graminées souples.

Comme une verte oasis au coeur d'une immesité de pierres et de béton . Une intéressante vue plongeante ; depuis la Tour Eiffel sans doute ? Je ne connais pas du tout Paris :)

Hi Ovidiu,
this panoramic sight on the city is magnificent, we can feel ourselves as a bird overflying in total freedom the wonderful Paris.
I guess that this fantastic POV might be the Eiffel Tower.
I like the spectacular graphism of the architecture of the city and its contrast with the gardens, under a soft light of the late afternoon and with a few beautiful warm tones.
It is a charming composition.

Un poumon vert au coeur de Paris, cela ne peut être que profitable. Cela dit, Paris, ne manque pas de parcs !
La vue est étonnante et l'horizon permet de découvrir la proche banlieue parisienne.
Tout paraît petit vu d'en haut !

Great skyline showing the compact city in enormous depth with superb evening warm tone and great crop choice. I'm a big fan of these styles of scenes.
looking down on the city, we can get a true sense of the scale of Paris.
and similar to NYC, there is a large green space in the middle.
seems like it would take forever to walk all the streets :)

Je n'avais jamais vu le Jardin du Luxembourg de ce point de vue-là! C'est tout à fait intéressant!
C'est une photo qui m'a plu beaucoup! J'aime bien surtout le pdv choisi, la lumière et les couleurs douces et la compo simple mais efficace!
