Photographer's Note
After the walk through the Louvre
The Louvre Museum is not just a great place to observe art but also the place to observe people. Tourists and residents of Paris come into the museum to see and take pictures of their favorite pieces of art.
This picture was taken outside the Louvre in the main courtyard where people wait, watch the crowds or rest on stone benches.
The Louvre Museum (Musée du Louvre) in Paris, France is the most famous museum in the world. The former royal palace lies in the centre of Paris, between the Seine river and the Rue de Rivoli. The glass pyramid in the main courtyard of the Louvre serves as the museum's main entrance.
The Louvre Museum has extensive collections organized into seven departments. These are housed in the three wings of the museum: Sully, Denon and Richelieu. Each wing has three floors above ground, and one - the Entresol level - below ground.

A different perspective of a well photographed site - it lends another dimension to the location and shows the human side of it. Well done!!!
Nice lighting - I sense this may have been taken at the end of a long day of museum hopping :)

Bonjour Anastazija,

Hi Anastazija,
I liked this picture of the Louvre archs. The people give a nice sense of size to the building. However, I think you should allign the picture based on the building lines and not based on the people. Because of the angle you chose, the building looks tilt to the right.
Best regards,
Ricardo

you have a wonderful photograph and an excellent note explaining in detail the picture . In another shot you could probably try and focus in on a couple of individuals , with expressions on their faces . Jim
