Photographer's Note
It was a grey day in Paris, not the best for sightseeing or taking pictures. So, what could be better than a grey-on-grey picture? Taken through the Wall of Peace. I'm sure I'm not the very first person to take such a picture, but I hope some of you find it interesting nonetheless. :)

Very unique view of the Eiffel Tower- it looks great with your gray on gray. The title is nice too. My favorite part is how the top kind of fades into the clouds- Great job!

Hi Rebecca,
I like the picture (never saw one similar before) and also the message, a very important one in our days. Well done.

Nice way to take Madame la tour this way coming along with a message. Well composed, Rebecca!

hi rebecca,
although it is a very ordinary view of the eiffel tower, it looks very nice and beautiful with your style and the peace message.

I don't know how oridinary this view is, but since I have never seen it for me it's quite interesting, I would just increase the contrast a notch.

I find it a wonderful image, too, especially that the third row is in my native tongue ;-)
But putting that aside, a very original and great shot, Rebecca, a fresh view of the otherwise cliched Eiffel tower that I haven't seen before and like

Like many other people who've commented, I haven't seen this POV before either. What a nice idea - very symbolic. Nice job.

Hi Rebecca,
That's a good idea. Maybe you could have made a 100% B&W, it would have made it even more sad and nostalgic.
Well seen and done ;o)

Yup, very good idea ... and a very nice and different souvenir of a Paris trip ... you had a very good presence of mind to take a photograph of the Eiffel tower in this perspective. Pop the colors a little bit more (curves or brightness/contrast) would the only suggestion I could offer.

Hi Rebecca, you had a great idea combining the "greys", I love your point of view, this has made an orignal shot of probably te most photographed structure on earth...

Excellent photo! You did a great job making an interesting picture out of very difficult conditions. The focus is perfect, framing is great - What do you think of B&W? See my workshop.

Well, I must say that this is the first time I see this so I must give you 2 points only if it was for showing me a new view of this billion times photographed sight. I can see that someone has posted workshop version in B&W. I think maybe over-exaggerating contrast would work well, too.

Well Becky. it's the first time I have seen it and it is really well done. Sometimes when we are confronted with not the best of weather for a photograph we reach that little bit further and hey presto! Well seen.
Best regards,
Mark
