Man By Tinted Wall, a photo from Ile-de-France, Nord

Photographer's Note

I took this shot on my favortie street in Paris. The buildings on both sides of this narrow street are tinted wonderful colors. The graffiti in the background has been there for a while because I have a book of walking tours of Paris and it was even in the photo in the book.

I had thought about using some editing to take out the green scaffolding but decided against it because it kind of helps tie in the green garbage can.

No postprocessing, saved for web.

i´ve lived in Paris 3+ years and don´t remember walking around here, where is it???
i´ll be visiting end of May and would love to go. i think leaving the green scaffolding was a good idea.

Belle idée que d'attendre que ce piéton fut placé au bon endroit, ça donne une perspective à l'ensemble. L'arrière-plan surexposé enlève un peu de qualité à la photo, mais l'avant est par contre totalement réussi avec ses couleurs riches. Bravo!
