Photographer's Note

This is a shot taken of part of Paris as a storm passes over the city. Amoung the buildings in the skyline on the left, one can see the top part of the Eiffel Tower. The storm was moving towards the tower, but amoung the photos I shot, this one best showed the contrast of the downpour compared to the rest of the sky.

Postprocessing: Slightly rotated image, cropped, used auto-levels, used the dodging and burning tool in sky (to accentuate a bit more difference between the rain and the lighter sky), and used dodging tool on the sun-facing surfaces of the buildings (to add a bit more white to the foreground without totally lossing depth in this area by adjusting its levels).
