Photographer's Note

Bonjour Jean,
Well managed the shaded wooden building which shown its full length against the mountains on the background.
Trains stations always make an intriguing subject for photography.
Bon dimanche,
Ike

Hello Jean,
You already mentioned the difficult photo conditions, but you handled the strong contrasts fairly well. The foreground is slightly dark and the snow covered mountain is slightly too bright, but it's a good compromise of exposure. Most important is that we get a good view of the quite beautiful building.
Best regards,
Gert

Hi Jean
Nice capture of the old buildings giving a good impression of wild wild west under heavy shade. The hot spots on top somehow distract to a small degree though. Nice grab nevertheless

Bonjour Jean,

Hello Jean,
Indeed it seems a railway station during cowboy time.
Splendid of colours with the wood facade.
An excellent panorama view, nice sharp and clear photographed.
Very well done, TFS.
Best regards,
John.

Hello Jean,
A little bit of America in Europe here. You captured the railway station from a good angle and I like the contrast between the shaded and bluish foreground and the brightly lit mountains behind the building.

Bonjour Jean,
It is a great architecture and a stunning panorama behind but I see what you mean: the light was very challenging indeed. It was hard to combine these two worlds. I think we get the impression of iys beauty but it would be so much easier without deep shadow,
Very good reportage,
M

Bonjour Jean,

Hi Jean
Yes - dark due to the tricky light but there is enough detail for us to appreciate this unusual (for France) station.
cheers

Bonjour Jean,
I am almost expecting a Wells Fargo stagecoach to come by! Well managed backlight with good sharpness. This wild West scene would have to be in Colorado, which was similar snowy peaks to the Pyrenees. Tfs!

Hi Jean.
It is true that you had unfavorable light conditions, with that difference between shade and sun, but the curious and original style of this beautiful building looks good.
Well seen and done. I like it.
Have a nice day.
Very best regards.
Luis.
