Les Pyrénées croulent sous les chutes de neige, stations de ski fermées, route enneigées et verglacées ... les derniers jours ont connu des conditions climatiques exceptionnelles !
Je n'y étais pas ... mais pour illustrer cette actualité, une photo prise il y a deux ans, en février, juste après de belles chutes de neige. La Chapelle de Solférino sur les hauteurs de Luz St Sauveur.

Bonjour Jean,

J'aime le composition de cette image avec le sentier enneigé qui conduit le regard vers l'église.
Le ciel est d'un beau bleu saturé comme je les aime du fait du polarisant.

oui la neige croule en pyrénées, c'est incroyable!
Déjà même si ta photo date de deux ans, les Pyrénées ont très souvent de la neige en abondance!
le paysage avec l'église et la neige, l'ensemble est superbe, c'est un autre paysage!

Hello Jean,
It seems to be famine or feast with the snow this year. This is a very pleasant winter composition with the imposing church standing proud of the snow making a very effective focal point. Ideally exposed with excellent colours and clarity.

Ce est toujours un plaisir de retrouver ces photos, autant de neige et sur une journée ensoleillée. L'endroit est vraiment agréable avec l'église en pierre, qui donne une couleur contraste de l'image et agréable, je aime la façon dont elle est encadrée dans la nature.

Bonjour Jean,
Cette photo fait presque carte postale par sa qualité. Bon choix de cadrage pour mettre en valeur ce joli paysage hivernal, avec l'église immergée dans la neige en point de mire. Les courbes diverses offrent une belle dynamique, la lumière et les couleurs sont vraiment très belles.

Le sentier envoie mon regard vers l'église ce qui donne de la profondeur à la composition. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails de l'église et de la montagne. Le reflet de la lumière sur la neige embellit les couleurs de l'image. Bonne journée.

Quel beau paysage d'hiver. Cela ressemble un peu à cela chez nous en ce moment, mais le froid polaire nous empêche de mettre le nez dehors pour en profiter. Je suivrais bien ce petit sentier dans la neige vers cette belle église.

Hello Jean,
This is a very nice winter landscape. There are lots of fine rounded shapes and diagonals that give the composition a good sense of rhythm in spite of the lack of people, and the trees provide a good balance. The light and colours are beautiful and leave us in no doubt that this was a perfect day to catch some fresh air and maybe go for some cross-country skiing.

The snow may disrupt travel, but it makes for a beautiful photo opportunity! The composition is perfect too, with the trees forming a frame, and the snow-covered path/road(?) leading our eyes into the image. Lovely!

I remember other photos you posted from here. It's a really beautiful place on such a fine day. I like the composition a lot, those crosses on the right seem from a cemetery. Great pov, the light, the textures of the snow and the blue sky are just perfect!

Superbe image ! La lumière est très belle, l'exposition parfaitement gérée. Le cadrage est parfaitement équilibrée, l'église bien placée sur un point fort de l'image. L'amas neigeux au premier plan apporte de la profondeur et les pas sur la neige en bas à gauche nous emmènent vers l'église.

Good Morning Jean - A delightful snowy scene and one far removed from the heat of the Namibian summer. Looking at shots like this makes me long to jump on a plane and escape the relentless sun! Well balanced a detailed, I like this beautiful view.
