Au bord de l'eau l'arbre se croyait en vacances.
Il pouvait contempler son reflet.
Il pouvait se tremper les pieds.
Il pouvait parler aux grenouilles et aux têtards.
Un jour, il apprendrait à nager,
Et il irait découvrir le monde.

At the edge of water the tree was believed on holiday. It could contemplate its reflection.
It could soak the feet.
It could speak with frogs and the tadpoles.
One day, it would learn how to swim,
And it would discover the world.

En regardant ton profil, je m’aperçois que tu n’es pas seulement un chirurgien de l’image. C’est la première fois que je visite ta galerie et je m’attarderai à tes autres photos après ce message.

J'aime bien l'alternance dans ta galerie entre les photos de France et celles de tes différents voyages. Celles de France sont souvent des paysages, des arbres, personne dessus, juste toi et la nature, comme si tu essayais de t'aérer un peu, de te ressourcer. Pas pour oublier les images, les visages, les émotions que tu as vécu, non, surtout pas oublier, mais pour faire un peu de place pour les émotions à venir... Ca donne un rythme à ta galerie qui est très agréable à suivre.

Ici j'aime beaucoup le reflet, la bande d'herbe au premier plan qui donne de la profondeur, le vert tendre de la végétation de printemps, et la note!

Thank you for this lovely "postcard" and I hope the word sounds more positive than many people may make it sound on TE... I always percept some negative signification in comments on my "own postcard". :o)

Also thank to bring me back to my youth for a while... Living in the area of Anjou - more west in direction of the Rhône valley - this place, like La Côte-Saint-André or Beaurepaire, were villages which we went through on our way to Paladru for many Sunday picknicks.

Bright, crisp and incredibly scharp scenery, full of atmosphere, very well done!

Je vois que la famille des arbres s'agrandit. Celui-ci fait plutôt bourgeois avec sa piscine privée dans laquelle il se contemple. Visiblement il emploi également un jardinier méticuleux qui a planté quelques jolies fleurs autour...

Excellent composition to have almost surrounded the lake with land by including the strip of grass in the foreground. The tree is perfectly placed in the frame admiring its reflection. I love reflections and this is a beautiful example.

très jolie campagne sous un ciel d'une beauté d'enfer, légèrement polarisé, mais pas trop, les nuages se détachent.
Les reflets frisotants sous un léger vent.
Toutes les couleurs sont à la fois saturées et naturelles, les verts sont d'une fraicheur qui dégage presque un parfum.
Excellent cadrage.

Une belle image bucolique, une composition qui place l'arbre idealement et une belle reflection. Je trouve un peu dommage que ces plantes de premier plan genent la vue vers la reflection mais d'un autre cote je trouve qu'avoir ce premier plan c'est aussi un plus donc... ben mieux vaut arreter de reflechir a ses details et profiter de la vue !

hey bertrand. this is a beautiful shot, but i'm going to be horrible and say that there's something i really don't like about it.

personally, i really dislike shots the water is not in the foreground. stepping up to the edge of the lake would have given you beautiful reflections of the tree and cloudy sky.

i think the flowers and grass in the foreground are really distracting and detrimental to the image. sorry! :(

Belle composition, simple mais avec beaucoup d'interets. J'aime le reflexe de l'arbre et ciel sur l'eau. La lumiere est tres bonne aussi et le positionement de l'arbre dans le cadrage general est tres bien reussi.

Je suis pas un fan des paysages, mais celle-ci je l'aime bien, elle est vraiment bien faite et d'une très bonne qualité.
J'adore, très paisible et reposant.
Le cadrage avec cette bande d'herbe sur le bas est bien vu.
De belles teintes, un bon rendu des couleurs et les nuages sont très bien exposés.

What a painting you have here. So simple but has so much to offer. I love the quiet lake with the reflections of the white clouds and the blue sky. The yellow and (a little bit) red is a good contrast to the green.
