Passer du chaud au froid,
regarder les coraux puis toucher la neige.
Traverser les continents sans passer de frontières.
Monter et descendre.
Naviguer puis voler.
Chercher la lumière dans la nuit, puis s'éblouir.
Se perdre dans la ville puis traverser les champs.
Parler aux arbres et sourire aux enfants.
Changer de saison comme on claque dans les doigts.
Tout connaitre, tout voir, tout savoir.
Comme cette trace, on explore, on hésite, on avance.

Petite planète prisonnière de sa toile internet.
Tu as avec TE des yeux partout qui te regardent.
Et pour nous tous, le temps, le climat, la distance n'existent plus.

To pass from the heat to the cold,
to look at the corals then touching snow.
To cross the continents without passing from borders. To go up and go down.
To sail then to fly.
To seek the light in the night, then to dazzle itself. To lose itself in the city then to cross the fields. To speak with the trees and to smile to the children. To change season like one opera hat in the fingers.

Like this trace, one explores, one hesitates, one advances.

Small planet captive of its web.

Hi Bertrand,
An interesting layout and using the bare minimum of elements to create an impact. While the footprints initially lead us out of the frame but one is quickly pulled back in the direction of the trees. The five trees are a beautiful number and the clouds harmonized and relate well with the snow. Well done and beautifully seen!! Regards and a pleasant day.

As Ivar comments, you have used this wonderful composition of wandering footprints to illustrate your thoughts about your life and TE.

The peotry of your note started me on a detective game. This is France, earlier this month. In February you were in India. Yesterday's photo of Tanzania was taken last October. But I think that now you are in Cambodia photographing, 'Working Children.' I think for you especially, "le temps, le climat, la distance n'existent plus."

I think it's great to think that distances and time doesn't exist. In our mind it's almost possible, when browsing TE also. In reality we have to fight to catch our time every day. But sometimes a dream come true helps to bear!

This is a real fun image to watch, the steps on the snow make the eye anticipate the direction towards the trees... and they disappear! to reappear again on the far left. Great capture, Bertrand, thanks for sharing!

pas mal du tout tout ce blanc que tu as laissé! j'aime bien cette compo inusuelle, j'ai fait une photo presque semblable, en laissant par contre la place au ciel et moins à la neige.. merci pour ta note tjs aussi intéressante

this one is the opposite to your previous post, from paradise to winter landscape, but still beautiful in its simplicity and well composed. Nice to have included the traces in the snow, it makes the lower part of the image more interesting and they gradually lead the eye towards the trees. Well done!

Bonjour Bertrand,
I love minimalist shots and this one is impressive, with all this white filling up most of the image. It's nice to see the trace leading our eyes to the background, which is well composed with those trees. Yes, I think that in such a powerful image, the inclusion of the whole curve of the trace would make it better (and your usual meanful note gives them such importance...), but may be that was not easy to manage. Superb winter photo!

Je crois que c'est la 1ère fois que je vois de la neige dans ta galerie !! Quel contraste ! Quelle surprise ! Et je trouve que c'est très bien fait, avec ces pas qui nous emmènent vers le bosquet pour... s'en détourner très vite et partir ailleurs... comme ici sur le site.
Note très pertinente également.

maintenant qu'arrive ce printemps tant attendu, nous poussons des petites pointes de nostalgie et admirant les fabuleux paysages enneigés.
Le cadrage est original, il privilégie la neige avec ces traces, d'autres auraient privilégié le ciel, superbe aussi.
L'expo est parfaite.
