Marlaix è una bella cittadina, nel centro storico ci sono abitazioni a graticcio, un'interessante chiesa in stile gotico e la città è divisa in due da un fiume che allargandosi funziona anche da porto. Ma la cosa più originale è il grande viadotto ottocentesco in granito che è rimasto intatto anche dopo la seconda guerra mondiale.
Un grande prodigio di ingegneria che si apre davanti agli occhi dei passanti.

This is indeed one interesting place! I haven't seen in photos a viaduct that high in the middle of an urban area.

Your almost "worm's eye-view" composition captured the beauty of the arches very well. Nice work!

Io ci ho lasciato il cuore davvero bellissima....io sono stato in Normandia questo anno bella anche quella ma la Bretagna è tutta un altra cosa

and why not? love the view down low pointing upwards, and the wide angle really makes it stand out.
its a wonderful overall visual.

the blues and yellows contrast well too.
so much to like with those large oversized archways.

The bridge is indeed a marvelous architecture's engineering wonder, Carlo - especially as you mentioned how long and what it had endured.
A POV chosen superbly, the pavilion on the middle ofbthe wide boulevard, an elevated stage - very typical to Spain and south of France, so I learnt.
Fine picture on a calm cityscape photo.

What's not to like? Excellent sharpness, fantastic repetition of the bridge spans and superb density levels that have given punchy light contrasts between dark and light tones. Perspective has been well managed and the people add scale. Tfs.

The viaduct seems to hold the entire city in its grip. Very impressive.
Together with the other buildings it stands out wonderfully against that gorgeous sky.

what a beautiful town and a great presentation of yours.
I think for the first time I see the aqueduct passing through the middle of the town even quite symmetrically through the main street.
You had a fantastic sky with subtle touches of white clouds. The blue adds so much life here.
I like the central symmetry as well.

Belle vue sur ce majestueux viaduc qui domine la vieille ville de Morlaix. Belles couleurs, bonne netteté. La région de Morlaix, quand tu vas vers Roscoff, Santec, Carantec, est pour moi une des plus belles de Bretagne, avec une lumière souvent très belle, j'espère que tu as pu en profiter !

An interesting note and a beautiful photograph to accompany it!

That impressive tall viaduct stands out beautifully and majestically against a lovely deep blue sky and provides a strong compositional element while the gazebo decked with flowers fills the foreground perfectly. Some very fine buildings and the presence of some people adds human interest as well as a fine sense of scale.

Lovely light and colours and stunning details and sharpness.
