Merci,
Pascal

Impressive. An excellent work in perspective (without the people this would not have been the success it is). Nature's wintery grandeur is well displayed here!

Wonderfully composed Cessy. The zig zag course formed by the snow and you composition is great. Also the inclusion of the 3 characters in the lower right corner gives a stunning perspective. Light is handled very well. I like it.

Stunning composition cessy, the use of a telezoom show well the immensity of the mountain. People seems so small !!!
Thanks for the share

Amazing view of the snowy "dunes". The 3 peoples are bringing the scale to the landscape.
Fantastic!

Very nice picture with all those curves, lines, and shadows. The three people in the foreground give a dimension to the whole.

Very impressive nature shot Cessy,
Very clear to see that nature still can surprise us
I thing that its very important you left the people in the bottom right
Without them the shot would have been good but the effect of the size and distance would be less

Wow! Cessy, this is a fantastic photo!
I was in this area the week before you, and yet your composition leaves me wondering exactly which view this is.
The contrast between the snow ridges is excellent, as is the choice of b+w.
I've put this in my favourites. :D

If the title didn't tell where this was at, I could almost guess this would be the desert.
B&W is a perfect choice, the forms, light and shadows works well togehter an makes a magnificent artistic shot.
I really like that you have included the people to give size and perspective to this place.
Very, very well done.

Amazing shot! I really like those textures and curves of the sand. Nice use of black and white here, also the people at the bottom help us be able to determine how big is the sand dune. Very nice shot!

Magnifique ! on dirait un tableau d'art abstrait. Le regard est intrigué et parcourt chaque versant entre ombres et lumières, arêtes et courbes... sans se lasser. Les personnages apportent l'échelle indispensable au descriptif de l'image.
Vraiment superbe !

Wonderful image!
It's so full of punch!
The perspective is great, the greytones wonderful and the natural curves in the mountain are almost out of this world...
No critique from me, only envy... ;)

Without the people this is a good abstract photo, it woudl have viewers guessing as to what it was. With them it gives a sense of scale and shows exactly how grand the slopes are. Your decision to make it B+W makes it difficult to decide whether it is snow or sand! It could be either judging by the top of the photo. I would be interested to see how the original differs to this one, i.e. what difference the B+W made, I cant imagine that it would be that much as obviously the snow would be white anyway?

I am contemplating all you set about the mountaint and B&W photos. You have done a great work, very efficient. I like it a lot. The light and the contrast are really well rendered.
Compliments

This B&W describes in a splendid way the big open spaces using the shapes. People become secondary element of the landscape, no more protagonist.
Thanks for the emotions.

C'est le genre de photo qui donne la véritable dimension : les personnes en bas à droite donne l'échelle de grandeur à ce paysage magingique et hostile.

Well Cessy I think what made this photo gorgous is the balance of tones! A delight to see. Add to that the human element for scale makes this fantastic!
