Photographer's Note

Un cadrage plus proche du donjon central du château.
L'architecture est inspirée des fortification militaires construites lors des croisades.
De ces 24 tours il ne reste plus que 11 dans un état plus ou moins bon, certaines sont situées dans des terrains privés de la ville.

Assemblage de deux images pour toutes les photos.

Hello Didi.

it's a pitty that these things are disapearing and most of the times because those who had the responsability of keeping it doesn't care.

For future memory these photos like yours might well be the only memory we'll have from our past.

Good photo, well lit up by this warm light.

Salut Didi,
Une vue plus rapprochée de ce qui reste du château et qui nous laisse mieux voir les détails. Ces ruines sont bien mises en valeur devant le beau ciel bleu et encadrées par la végétation. Belle rangée de tulipes en avant-plan qui ajoute de la couleur à la photo.

A really fine exposure which has superb clarity, the details so accessible! I love how you have prefaced the ruin with the guiding line of tulips, like regimented soldiers on parade! It well composed and the colours are nicely saturated. Bravo!

Les arbres et les fleurs cadrent bien les ruines. L'assemblage des deux photos permet de voir les détails et les couleurs des ruine. La lumière du matin met en valeur la beauté des couleurs. Bonne soirée.

Hi Didi, Even small piece of architecture is a stitch of photos. You love this job! Not much left here of the donjon but very picturesque view, specially with the tulips around. Superb colours.

Cette ruine fait le bonheur des paysagistes, il n'est point besoin de créer de faux vestiges pour agrémenter la beauté des lieux.
Ce parterre de tulipes habille très joliment la composition.
L'assemblage est parfait.

This is magnificent, good stitching job, a well balanced compo and I trully love old architecture or ruins with a history. This one speaks volumes of a time gone by and you have done a wonderful work capturing it! Beautiful textured stone work, cool colors and the elaborate walls. Sublime lighting and colors with the shadows accentuating the depth and 3d feel. Just right for the scene with lovely lead through and natural framing with excellent touch of vivid colors to anchor the eyes. A truly satisfying shot, Well done. Congrats

it is a magical atmosphere that you have captured here. You are presenting a great impression of the ruin against the blue sky. The light is fantastic! But most of all I like the strong contrast between the tulips and the ruin. My compliments also for the note and the previous image!

Un très bon cadrage de cette ruine avec une excellente netteté. J'aime bien le contraste de la pierre avec le ciel bleu et le vert de la pelouse ainsi que les tulipes qui font comme un chemin vers la ruine.

Bonjour, cher ami Didi,
un cadrage excellent avec l'assemblage de deux photos, où tu nous offres un angle fantastique visuel qui inclut totalement les ruines de ce donjon, dans une image avec une très bonne lumière et avec les couleurs bien rendues, qui lui donnent une haute qualité.
Les tulipes dans l'avant-plan sont un joli détail printanier. Un beau travail.

Des volumes bien restitués grâce aux 2 assemblages, la ruine est bien illuminée par les rayons du soleil qui ont donné une jolie teinte aux vieilles pierres. La pelouse, le parterre de tulipes sont des éléments qui agrémentent l'avant plan. Tu as aussi bénéficié d'un beau ciel bleu.

a wonderful and effective presentation of the ruined tower from an excellent point of view that shows well the architecture and takes advantage of the sweet warm afternoon light. The textured wall makes a superb contrast with the smooth blue sky. The naked trees offer a superb dramatic effect and the row of well tended fresh tulips is a surprising and pleasant addition.
