III: Crusaders taking 5 in Puivert
In this series of the long siege of the castle Montsegur, the last stronghold for the Cathars in 1243/1244, this photo to illustrate a village along the road where some of the 10.000 Crusaders passed on their route to Montesegur.
I guess the church is from a later time than 1243, still there was a castle here at the time, already in 1210 captured by the crusaders. We can imagine that this at the time was a good place to rest for knights, noblemen and followers.

Bonjour Jack,
Best regards.
Daniel.

Hi Jack, You have well captured the environment the architecture style from this PoV. Good sepia filtering process to show the timeless image of the village. I guess this looking has been about the same for many decades.
Nice shot with sharpness and depth.

INteresting note, and a good PoV to give a clear impression of the place. Rather a strange PP treatment, a very yellow tinge of sepia.

Hello Jack
I like the sepia tones & desaturation. The falttened perspective & 'busyness' add interest. Good sharpness & lighting, with an informative note. Congratulations!
