Photographer's Note
I interrupt my series of "straw" with this view on the hilly landscape of Plaisance. You see a vineyard of St Mont, a very good local wine of Gers.
I took this picture early in the morning on a bike trip while the whole family was still sleeping.
In background you see the gate of a lovely private castle.

Hi Luc!
This good shot was it worth to get up early.Your POV is excellent and the morning light is wonderful.Good composition with nice lines and good contrast with the dark parts in the shadow.A closer view of this gate would be nice too.

Bonsoir Luc,
TFS,
Corinne

Hi Luc,
Such a green image! I really like the graphic effect made by the rows of vine.
Nice point of view, too. I guess you had chosen just one ordinary path between the rows, but this way it looks as if the vineyard has main alley to enter :)

Very nice shot, Luc
I really like the patterns of the straight rows of vines, and they stand out more with the directional lighting here, so the sun shines on the leaves and the base of the vines is in deep shadow giving a graphical striped effect. Nice composition and good long DOF.

Superb graphism & geometric patterns Luc, formed by the vines. They standout more because of the side lighting & the deep furrow like feel in the central lines form a beautiful striped pattern. Very nice!

Hallo Lucas!
What a wonderful view! The light in this picture - once again - is outstanding and very warm! The colours are great and the pattern of the vines works very well. A beautiful one! I wonder, how many bottles you show here ... ;-)

Dag Luc,

Hello Luc,
A striking picture which owes it's beauty to the sharpness, and unbelievable light. I am impressed by the precision of the lines in the vineyard.

Dag Luc,
Groeten ,

Hi Luc,
Nothing like an early morning bike ride by yourself to find good photo-ops. You've captured this one well. I like the framing with the vines in the foregound and moving on to the neat rows of vines. The castle looks like a fairy palace. Those trees behind must be huge!!. The early moring has given lovely light and color; detail is excellent throughout.

You prove how worthwhile it is to get out for the early light. The light and strong contrast are beautiful. The rows of vines provide excellent lead-ins up to the castle gates.
