Photographer's Note
---------------
If you go to Périgueux, Saint-Front Cathedral and its original architecture (not very visible here :o)) worth the visit.
During this time, do not miss the superb candlesticks, such as the one represented here, which were built to light Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, for Napoleon III wedding in 1853.
I shot this one with the camera on the ground, almost vertically with the huge candlestick, which is the best AntiShake I know :o)

Bonjour voisin! :) Your photo is very original. Not because of the point of view, but because the first time I looked at it it seemed a garden on the floor instead of a candlestick on the ceiling. I like your pp here and the strong contrast. It really suits the theme and the subject well. Like it!

Morning JB,
First you kept me staring for a while...not knowing what it was. Without a note you would still leave me without a trace. I never look up i think, more to the ground, were the money is ;-)
The detail in the stones is wonderful, as usuall a great exposure, but i still can't figure out how this lamp? is placed with the candles.
Whatever...detail and originalty is very high...thanks.
Have a nice day, Henk

Hi JB,
The best antishake is putting the camera on the ground :)
Yesss, quite simple yet true :)
I appreciate the result, well centered and sharp portrayal of a chandelier...
Interesting that you did not apply strict symmetry here, i would try if i were you. I agree with Luis about te high contrast, it looks well as if a DRI application. Solid outlook indeed...
Cheers,
Deniz

Hello JB,

Hi JB,
very unusual view but not less interesting. It's graphical and attractive and I like the idea for the green shadows which brings the details in a pleasant way. Great capture!

Bonjour JB,
Amicalement

Hello JB,
Very high but very well taken, the candlestick on the ceiling gives a very nice composition, together with the brick work to the ceiling.
Very well done.
Have a nice weekend,
John.

Interesting geometry and colours combined in this image. The ceiling is masterpiece and is very elegant in design. Good indoor light and sharpness to compose the image. No flaws that I can see. Thanks JB.
