On a family Christmas trip to Harzen this was our first encounter with snow this winter. It came suddenly as the temperature dropped several degrees and all structures lay out untouched and covered with white powder.

Hi Jan,
You seem to have quite a lot of snow in Germany.
More than in here north (todays snow can be seen from my todays post .
The red house is a classical target to watch.
The image is beautifully composed.

snow in Harzen and the red house. I like your vertical composition with the wood in the foreground. Far behind we can see the highlight in this wintery landscape. The red house. Wonderful colour contrast to the white snow. I like it.

very nice nature motive. The best are this sign-red house. Good composition with the wooden block in front of this.
