Schloss Wernigerode is - as amost castles - placed high above the city.
Getting inside is really taking you back to the time of the past. The castle is well kept and absolute worth a visit.
The place has its own homepage.
This shot is one of the leaded lights in one of the towers - not much to look through but it's part of the atmosphere.
