Photographer's Note

Wernigerode is a small town in the province Saxony-Anhalt, Germany, at the foot of the Harz Mountains. Crowned by a castle on the hill and with a town hall which is considered to be one of the finest half-timbered buildings in Germany, it's one of the most delightful towns in the region. Many of its narrow streets are lined with old half-timbered houses still intact. Here's a window and its closest surroundings of one of them, this minimal "element" should be sufficient to reconstruct the whole facade in your imagination!...
