Photographer's Note

Neuhauser Strasse is part of the main pedestrian area in the old city of Munich. It features a large number of retail stores and restaurants and several churches.

The street has existed since at least 1293 when it was first mentioned. From about 1815 to 1828 it was known as Karlstrasse. The street is named after a former village that is today's district of Neuhausen, an area previously outside the city.
