Photographer's Note
I recently pubished a longer series of 14 car photographies from Auto- und Uhrenwelt Schramberg, Black Forest, which is already finished. Anyway, I did not fully get rid of that theme , so I will publish three additional images.
These were taken not inside a car exhibition, but in an annex of Haus der Geschichte, Bonn, the Museum of the History of the Federal Republic of Germany.
Kapitän '48 was the pre-war Opel Kapitän from 1938, which cost 3975 RM then. Production was resumed in 1948 and continued until 1950. 25 371 pre-war and 12 936 post-war "Captains" were built. 55 HP, vmax = 126 km/h.
I still remember my first car, an Audi 80, bought in 1974, 55 HP, vmax = 145 km/h. The power of an upper middle class car had arrived in the lower middle class.

Bonjour Sven,
Celle-ci ressemble beaucoup aux grosses américaines de l'époque. Toute de chrome vêtue même si c'était très lourd.Beaux reflets sur la peinture.
Amicalement
