Photographer's Note
There is a narrow gauge (1000 mm) railway from Brohl BE in the lower middle Rhine valley (67 m) up to Engeln (464 m) in the Eifel hills, run only by friction and without cogwheels. Except for touristic traffic between spring and fall, the line is still in use for phonolite transportation from the quarry at Brenk to Brohl harbour station.
This is the only connection between their "central station" Brohl BE and Brohl harbour. The speed is very moderate, luckily. A higher speed would affect the passengers' stomachs, one might expect...

Hi Sven,
Nice perspective result with your well managed photo about these railways, interesting option for the sharpness management, tfs.

Hi Sven,
Low angle tele shot shows well the fact that rails of this narrow gauge line are something different from high speed main lines. Good focus on the switch and good to see the red wagons in the background.
