Seen in the centre of Munich, a well attended pork butcher's or charcuterie shop.

Charcuterie is the branch of cooking devoted to prepared meat products, such as bacon, ham, sausage, terrines, galantines, ballotines, pâtés, and confit, primarily from pork. The term is derived from the French words chair "flesh" and cuit "cooked". Originally intended as a way to preserve meat before the advent of refrigeration, they are prepared today for their flavours derived from the preservation processes.

As can be seen here, this style of food preparation is as much favoured in Germany as it is in France.
