Photographer's Note

View from the "Zugspitze" - the highest peak of Germany (2962m). Some of the peaks seen below are on German, some on Austrian side of the border.

After a short break - some new pictures from my last trip. Hope, You will like it!

Mountains and snow that works, a nice pov overlooking all these summits and a view that reaches far, I guess you could maybe see Poland on a clear day from there...
Good to have included this foreground to introduce into the image and contribute to the depth.

Are these peak all in Germany?

Wow, 3000 meters, still more than 5000 short of the big ones and this shot looks higher then I suppose I will ever be. Great shot and as Craig said, good scale.

za oknem tak cieplusieñko, a tutaj za oknem zionie mrozem i groza wiejaca od skalistych szczytów. Wspania³a kompozycja, bez upiêkszeñ ze znakomicie niknacym w b³êkicie horyzontem.

I've never done any climbing in Germany, but lookinig at your photo, I guess I should visit that place some day. I like your POV with the rock in the foregournd and an opened view on the surrounding mountains in the back. Congratulations for your 200 milestone on TE! ;o)

Bonjour Greg,
félicitations pour cette 200th très impressionnante, les sommets sont symboliques évidemment d'exploit. Un centuty est en somme une sorte d'exploit sur TE, un cap de régularité et de travail réalisé.

Des montagnes qui se perdent dans la brume, mais comment faire autrement quand on a une porfondeur de plusieurs dizaines de kilomètres.

Excellent travail, bonne continuation sur TE.

Congrate with the 200th G. What a wild and peaky landscape up there. Doesn't look to welcoming this landscape with the rough cliffs. Compowise very good use of the foreground adding depth to the compo. Good work G.
