Photographer's Note

This is a typical farm house with the stables nearby in the north-eastern part of the federal state North Rhine-Westphalia, called Lippe. It is situated near the small village Donop.
These rural estates mostly are surrounded by old oaks or chestnut trees as you can see here.

Bonjour, mon ami Frank,
Ces vieilles fermes possèdent un charme indéniable ! De plus, la composition est très bien réalisée car elle permet de valoriser ce patrimoine architectural rural d'une bien belle façon.
Ici, le temps oscille entre ciel gris, pluie, éclaircie, mais le printemps réveille malgré tout la nature.

I like the POV but the best part is the surrounding oak tree everywhere, it is always an excellent addition to a photo of any seasons.

Beautiful picture my Friend. I reflect, whether buildings show the working holding, whether this is Skansen museum. However looks this grandiosely. In spite of that traces of the former German colonization appear also at us, are the harm that the view is not so nice as in this picture. The splendid photo, the excellent colouring and very good quality.

Clay-wood houses again! I like this photo, greenery is so intensive already there, in Westfalen. Great composition and balanced light.
Hope you enjoy those mud-baths. Greetings, we had + 13 C today! Now for the green grass even here, in Midnight Lands, as Gerodotus once named place where I live. :)

Nice low POV for this shot which makes the buildings look even more dominant. The trees frame the farm houses nicely. The lighting and colors are great as is the sharpness and detial.

Hallo lieber Frank !
Wieder einmal typisch "buin"sche Blickwinkel und lehrreich wie immer. Die Fachwerkbauten sind auch an unserer Schwarzmeerkueste weit verbreitet. Nur der einzige unterschied, die Fuellungen besteht aus einer Mischung von Strohhalmen, Kuhdung und Lehm. Sodass man sie aus weiter ferne riehen kann !!
Hier der Blickfang die rote Abdeckung ueber dem Tor des mittleren Bautes !
Danke schoen und mach's gut bei 42 Grad !

Hallo Frank. Du verstehst es, die interessantesten und sehenswertesten Motive mit Deiner Kamera aufzuspüren. Wenn man die Photos sieht, ist es eine kleine Erlebnisreise durch Deine/unsere Welt. Und vielfach sind es die abseits liegenden und fast verborgenen Motive, denen Du Deine Aufmerksamkeit widmest. Eine dokumentarische Bemühung, die auf diese Weise das Bild von Deutschland erweitert.
