Piding is an approved climatic spa in Bavaria near to the border of Austria close to Bad Reichenhall and Freilassing.
Das Schloss Staufeneck in der Gemeinde Piding im Landkreis Berchtesgadener Land ist ein am Fuße des Hochstaufen gelegener Wehrbau. Erbaut wurde die Festung im 12. Jahrhundert von den Burggrafen von Staufeneck. Im Jahr 1307 ging sie in das Eigentum des Erzstift Salzburg über, dem sie von 1365 bis 1805 als eines der Pflegegerichte im Rupertiwinkel diente. 1503 wurde die Burg unter Erzbischof Leonhard von Keutschach grundlegend umgebaut und erhielt ihr heutiges Erscheinungsbild. Im Zuge der Napoleonischen Kriege fiel das Gebiet 1810 zusammen mit Salzburg an Bayern. Das Schloss befindet sich seit 1894 in Privatbesitz. Im 20. Jahrhundert beherbergte es einige Jahre lang ein Museum. Nach einer grundlegenden Sanierung ist es heute wieder bewohnt.

Nie gehört, nie gesehen - umso besser, dass du es hier zeigst.

Bonjour Georg,
une photo qui aurait eu moins d'impact si elle avait été prise à un autre moment, sans cette brume enveloppante.
Un cadrage de tout bon goût et un format qui se prête bien à la scène.
Peut-être un peu trop de soleil pour rendre cette atmosphère un peu plus dramatique.

Ależ Ty sypiesz tymi starymi zamkami jak z rękawa. i co maja robić biedacy, na przykład na Mazowszu, co nie maja takich zamków? Potężne zamczysko, zamieszkałe. Podoba mi się. Fajna mgiełka unosi sie kolo zamku. Pozdrawiam

Wunderbar wie der leichte Nebel über das Schloss hinwegzieht. Und der schneebedeckte berg im Hitergrund gibt erinen guten Kontrast. Tolle Aufnahme

Bonsoir,
belle photo de ce château duquel semble s' échapper cette vapeur.
Jolies couleurs et bonne netteté. Cette montagne et ce glacier ensemble forment une diagonale et l' autre demi est bien remplie par ce ciel bleu légèrement brumeux.

A lovely castle between the low clouds or maybe a little bit misty atmosphere.
I think that this first time that I see this castle, not gigantic great but very lovely for look it.

Guten Tag Georg, ist es eine gute Sache, daß dieses Schloß des Jahres 1307 an neu nach so sehr Geschichte gewohnt ist, es ist auch eine seltsame Sicht, daß diese am Berg und deinem breiten Einrahmen gehangene Konstruktion uns die Gelegenheit gibt, es in vollem Umfang zu schätzen, sehr freundschaftlich...................Bonjour Georg, c’est une bonne chose que ce château de l'année 1307 est à nouvel habité après tant d’histoire, c’est aussi une vue insolite que cette construction accrochée à la montagne, et ton large cadrage nous donne l'occasion de l'apprécier pleinement, bien amicalement

Hallo Georg,
der Bildausschnitt gefällt mir sehr mit dem Anstieg nach links, dem Schloss davor und dem beschneiten Gestein dazwischen. Mit den Nebenschwaden und dem dennoch blauen Himmel sehr anziehende Gesamtwirkung.

The like building that somehow blend with the surrounding just like this one. The fence and sheep gave scale of dimension to the scene while the trees partially frames the scenery ... great POV. You've captured and composed the whole picture wonderfully with very good image quality. Well done! tfs

Fascynujace s± te pasma mgie³. Sprawiaj± wra¿enie oparów nad trzêsawiskiem. Nie wiem dlaczego, ale kojarzy mi siê ten obraz z Makbetem Kurosawy. ¦wietna praca - masz dobr± "rêkê" do takich kadrów.

Georg, the fog behind the castle makes this almost mystical looking. The composition is lovely and the colors are grand, well seen and captured.
