Photographer's Note

This is my second post from the beautiful canyon called "Panta Vrehei" (in greek it means "it's always raining"). I know that the sky is way too overexposed, but believe me with these huge contrasts there, this "washed out" sky is inevitable. I tried everything but it wasn't posible to avoid it without losing important details in the shadowed part. I even tried sort of HDR or DRI method there, but the result was too "fake", so I decide to leave it as it is, in some way I think that this bright part could also help to the magic feeling of this place. The two basic reasons why I didn't throw it into the Recycle Bin: first of all, I still like this picture and second, I think it's quite representative of this place.
