Photographer's Note
This is the fourth photo from the beautiful canyon of Panta Vrehei (means "it's always raining" in greek. As you can see in my previous posts from the same place ( HERE, HERE and HERE it's a colourful place, but I thought I should give it a try in b&w and here's the result.
* That bright thing on the upper right part of the picture is not flair or anything like that, but one of the many waterfalls of the place.

I like you decision to convert to B&W here Hercules - it suits the monochrome treatment and the OE isn't such a distraction as it was in your earlier posting.
I like how you framed the shot, although I think it might have been better to crop slightly to get rid of the over-exposed patch at bottom left.
Good choice of shutter speed - the water is nicely blurred.
Cheers,
Ben

Awesome photo. Love the tonal spectrum from pure white to dense black and the slow shutter has made the water into liquid light. Superb. Paul.

Hello Hercules,
This is much better than the earlier one in color. Tighter framing around the falls has alleviated the disturbance created by the high contrast. Of course, B&W has helped too. One can still that the highlights were too strong from the trees. I can detect some flare below the upper falls you mention, which is a fact of life with esp. zoom lenses. Regards,
Hakan

Hi Hercules,
Wondefully captured and presented in B&W medium. The slow exposure created a very desirable motion effect to add dynamics to the scene. Well composed ... excellent work! tfs

Hello Thomas.
Very elegant composition in B&W with the silky water flowing thru it in such a delicate way.
You got ride of the harsh lights well here thru this conversion and even better it turned quite 'classy' in B&W. The light on the rocks near the bottom is very beautiful enhancing both the rocks and the water which is flowing there.
Cheers.
