Watching the river's magical journey 2, a photo from Pieria, Macedonia

Photographer's Note

This is one more shot of Enippeas river, but a few months later than the last one. This is something i like to do, taking pictures from places i really love in different seasons. The comparison afterwards is really imazing! Each season has a unique beauty that gives to a place a totally different look and feeling.
I understand that every time i visit mount Olympos and spend some time to admire the nature's wonders. It is still impossible for me to deside which season is more beautiful in this fascinating place. The shot here was taken at spring. The weather was excellent, the forest and the river were so magical, i could not deside what to shoot first. This is an image i like very much for the movement of the water and the natural framing of the rocks and the leaves above. Following a river like Enippeas can be amazing some times...

Elena, I like the image for all the reasons you enjoy it, but for me the main reason I fall in love with this photo is the light.
For that reason I did a quick workshop to accentuate the wonderfull light in the right side of the image.

Magnificent!
It is as if this photo came out of a fairy tale!
The waterfall and the lighting on the rocks at the background are spectacular.

You are like Monet and Rouen Cathedral! This place is surely the home of a nymph. You was able to overwork the light in a difficult situation (it seems to me that you was in a dark place. With this light (and yes thanks also to fillflash)you captured nice details of rock on the right and of little waterfall. The white rock on the left and leaves are a good frame. There is also a good depth. It is seems a place difficult to reach.
