Photographer's Note
This historical little train ,that used to operate the whole route between Volos - Milies ,is literally line running on the construction of which began in 1892, in 1892. In 1896 the first part of the line ,namely until Ano Lehonia had been delivered.
The rest part until Milies would have to wait until 1903.
The chief engineer of the project was EVARISTO DE CHIRICO father to the well known painter and sculptor GIORGIO DE CHIRICO ,who was born to Volos.
The train would inspire him later and take its place in many of his creations .

Hello Costantino,
It is natural to see that you were not the only photographer here. This very nice old train should be ideal for photos. The red and black engine is a wonderfully bright and attractive element and great for the composition. I enjoyed the information about de Chirico. I was well aware of the son but not of the engineering father.
Kind regards,
Gert

Bonjour Costantino,
Quel beau petit train historique. C'est toujours un plaisir d'y embarquer. Il forme une belle ligne de fuite qui pousse le regard vers le photographe au trépied.
Amicalement

Kalimera Costantino,
A fun ride in this little train, and also attractive for photographers.
Chosen well an oblique POV to allow the view of the green slope on the far side.
Wish you a nice Sunday,
Ike

Hello Costantino,
My next picture is also a train on a narrow-gauge rail.
For much people is this new but for us age a nice remembrance.
You create depth and perspective.
Lovely presentation, very well done, TFS.
Best regards,
John.

Geia sou Costantino. This engine of the touristic train looks rather like an hybrid version of a motorized vehicle; the small wheels and the large grey panels covering the diesel generators have a modern look while the smokestack, in my opinion, appears as a nostalgic decoration for the lovers of steam trains! Kids prefer rundabouts while elderlies of my age, quiter rides! Se xereto

Hi Costantino,
You have captured well the action of the photographer. The point of view is showing the details of the locomotive and of the wagon. The colours are beautiful. Have a nice day.
Pierre
