Zazari lake has extent roughly 2 Km2 and is found in altitude of 602 metres. medium depth is 4,6 metres. Is supplied by the small river of Sklithrou that springs from Verno Mt and this with its line supplies the neighbouring lake Cheimaditida. Zazari and neighbouring Cheimaditida they belong in the network Natura 2000 with code GR 1340005.
