Photographer's Note
The monastery is situated nearby the village of Mesanagros on Rhodos island. Most of the present buildings arise from the 18th and 19th centuries built around a 13th century Church of the Holy Cross.
In the monastery is one of the most famous painting on island Rhodos miraculous ikon of the Blessed Virgin (Panagia).
