Photographer's Note

Spring sunshine casts its shadows across the upper atrium of the refurbished rotunda buildings at the spa at Kalithea on the eastern coast of the island of Rhodes, Greece.
The springs of Kalithea have been known since ancient times, they rise in the eastern and central part of the island. These legendary spa waters attract people and their families all year with many hoping to be cured of aliments by the waters that spring from the rocks surrounding the bay of Kalithea. The construction of the facilities began at the end of December 1928, by the Italian architect Pietro Lombardi they are currently being re-furbished and brought back to their former glory.

I apologise for the necessity to watermark my images; I am trying to make it as discreet as possible. But in recent weeks I have discovered that some of my images posted on TE have been hi-jacked and are now being used promotionally on other websites, without my permission. I like this site and want to continue posting so this is the only way I can see to perhaps discourage this problem.
