Photographer's Note

I have already written in my other Hania photos that walking in the alleys of the old town is like a time travel and i think this one proves it. This is taken in the neighbourhood of "Top Hanas", which means "house of balls" becauce during the years of Ottoman ocupacion, that was the place where the Turks kept their cannonballs. Although the name is turkish, I think that the Venetian (other conquerers before the Ottomans) influence is more than obvious.

I took this photo twice, the second one after removing the broom, but when i saw it in my computer I thought it was a nice element, so I kept the first one.

My friends "Xalkida" and "Evanrizo" noticed (and they were absolutely right) that the floor is overexposed. I used shadow/highlights and burn tool in PS to darken it. Hope you like it.
