Photographer's Note

Travelling together. A boy and a girl can be the best company in many ways.

Greece and summer are the right place and season for love, flirt. I don't know if this young couple are friend, brother and sister or lovers... I know that they enjoyed the summer in Greece and the beauties of Zakynthos island.

May their lifes be without the clouds you can see far away :)

About the pp in this shot: I wanted something else, something different than a simple shot and presentation. Maybe I added more saturation but I like it! What do you think?

Hi Mpampis,

This image has a great force, you have caught a little while very interesting, I believe that has excess of saturation and a little noise, but I like, has something special. TFS

Cadrage réussi pour présenter ce couple. Le PP est bien vu ici, il rappelle, les diapositives kodachrome aux couleurs saturées qui rendaient magnifiquement sur grand écran.

About the saturation...maybe too much in my opinion.

Γεια σου Μπαμπη,
Ομορφη και ρομαντική η φωτογραφία σου , σε χαρακτηρίζει αλλωστε ο ρομαντισμός. Τη σύλληψη του θέματος και το καδράρισμα τα βρίσκω πάρα πολύ καλά ,για τέτοιο ευαίσθητο θέμα δεν συμφωνώ με τον έντονο κορεσμό, αλλά είναι και θέμα υποκειμενικό.

Answer on your question; I find the colour very strong but absolutly pleasant for looking, indeed totally a other subject than we are be used to of you, the tattoo is a eyes catcher here! TYhanks for sharing.

Γειά σου Μπάμπη. Τι να πρωτογράψω εδώ. Μεγάλη στιγμή της φωτογραφικής σου δραστηριότητας, θα έλεγα.Το να συμπεριλάβεις τον διάδρομο επιβίβασης και αποβίβασης είναι πάρα πολύ καλό, τα σύνεφα στο βάθος δίνουν αυτόν τον απαράιτητο τόνο της δυναμικότητας και του βάθους, μαζί με το άφρισμα που αφήνει το πλοίο.
Και βέβαια δεν παραβλέπω το κορυφαίο που είναι το ζευγάρι.

Πολύ ωραια στιγμή, μια καθαρά καλοκαιρινή και "αγαπησιάρικη" φωτογραφία. Ξεχωρίζει για την εξαιρετική σύνθεση της. Εχω την εντύπωσει ότι έχει υπερβολικό contrast και sharpness, με αποτέλεσμα να βγαίνει λίγος "θόρυβος". Κατά τα άλλα, εντυπωσιακή!

Hi Mpampi, I like this a lot, the intensity of the conversation is comounded by the saturation and the contrast you added in your pp. I like the connection between the tatoo of the girl and the Japanese script of the boy too. Very nicely seen and done!

Πραγματι πολυ ωραια και ρομαντικη στιγμη πετυχες.Πολυ ωραια και η συνθεση με το βαθος πεδιου εως τα συννεφα!!Μαλλον οπου πηγαινεις τραβας τα συννεφα στο φακο σου! :)Μια και εγινε λογος για το saturation,πιστευω οτι λειτουργει πολυ καλα στην φωτογραφια σου.Εξαιρετικη!

I like your info---I do sail in the sail boat--for improving mine skills in photography. Our POV is similar to this extent.
BTW,
Well saturated shot, rich in colours and contrast.
You could leave this line---I don't know if this young couple are friend, brother and sister or lovers.
Let the visitors to this shot think, make guess and you enjoy....reading the comments.
I really admire your last line---May their lifes be without the clouds you can see far away. Great feelings you have got, I know it already;)

Γειά Μπάμπη,
Πολύ όμορφη φωτογραφία την οποία την έχεις συνθέσει καταπληκτικά. Την ιδέα να πάρεις το ζευγάρι στην πρύμη με background τα απόνερα του πλοίου την βρίσκω εξαιρετική. Όσο τώρα για την ποιότητα της εικόνας προβληματίστηκα αρκετά τόσα για τα κορεσμένα χρώματα όσο και για τον θόρυβο αλλά και τον σκοτεινό ουρανό. Άκρη πάντως δεν έβγαλα..

Πανέμορφη φωτογραφία εξαιρετικά καδραρισμένη. Τα κορεσμένα χρώματα δεν βοηθούν, ωστόσο της δίνουν μία άλλη ατμόσφαιρα.

Hi Mpampis. A nicely composed and very natural capture, but the saturation is overdone. Below the horizon it's not too bad, but the halo on the horizon and unnatural colour of the sky spoils it. You have such beautiful blue skies in Greece - I don't know why you had to do it! Cheers . . . David

Lovely portrait...something to cherish...a summer to remember...Romantic Trip!

Though a bit saturated, I still find this portrait 'soft' due to the subject it conveys. Beautiful striking image... I like the tattoo too :)

yep, something about sitting on the stern of a boat or a ship watching the wake and hearing the sound of the engines and the splashing water...yep thats really nice...:o) Nice photo of two people enjoying the same as well as each other...:o) TFS
