Today I celebrate my 3 years in TrekEarth!

My personal performance:
- 435 photos (42 of them selected as Favorites from other members)

- and... 5 travelogues

But the most important things are the friends I made and the knowledge I took about photography.

So I would like to thank you all of them whose visited and critiqued my photos! Thank you from my heart. I would like to thank you also Adam, the creator of this site. Fine job Adam! ;)

Μπάμπη καλησπέρα,είσαι "παλαίουρας" που λένε και στα στρατά!Ευχαρίστησε τον Adam γιατί αν ξεκινήσουμε "κινητοποιήσεις" καλό θα είναι να τον έχεις καλοπιάσει και λίγο!

Damn that's a lot, a lot of days, a lot of numers, a lot of photo's and a lot of points.
This is a simple but nice photo. It shows well the time you spend on processing, everything is just Xalkida, perfectly in order as always. Fine quality, technically fine and also well composed. Nice depth. I would wish for a bit more attractive background, to me it has not much interesting to offer (oof, sorry to hurt your feelings), they are just a few buildings. A church orso would be nice, but hey, you didn't create the city, still what I said before remains, all in all it's a very nice shot, but must say you have more attractive ones. I like the way how this photo looks so natural, nothing overdone, it matches the photo and thus deserves another well done + a few points ;-)

It's a good idea to celebrate this anniversary with a picture from your hometown, where you get your name "Xalkida" from :)... looks like a typical mediterranean city...

Να τα εκατοστήσεις Μεγάλε.
Απο το λίγο διάστημα που σε ξέρω (4 περίπου μήνες) έκτός απο ένας καλός φωτογράφος διαπίστωσα ότι είσαι ένας άνθρωπος αυθόρμητος και με πηγαίο χιούμορ που με έκανες και γέλασα αρκετές φορές.
Ελπίζω να τα λέμε για αρκετά χρόνια ακόμα.

First of all, congratulations for this new milestone that you've reached on TE (I'm almost there, but I still must wait a few months). It's funny to read all your statistics and I wish you all the best for your coming year within our community!
Regarding the photo, it is, as always, technically perfect: the light, colours, rule of thirds compo and the diagonal line of the pier... I just wish there was a more pleasant background than those modern buildings! ;o)

I have to say, you definitely established chalkis as an important point on the TE world map !
This one is also pretty inviting before the summer, maybe not much for the background buildings that look quite common, but there is always something to see on a harbour and today it's the nice foreground boats that retain my attention.

θα σου ευχηθώ τα χρόνια που έρχονται στο τρεκ να έχουν εξίσου γνώσεις, γνωριμίες και γιατί οχι διασκεδαση με αυτά που πέρασαν.
Ο πλάγιος φωτισμός δίνει την αίσθηση του χαλαρώματος στη φωτογραφία σου. Κατά τα άλλα πολύ σωστά τοποθετημένος ο πέτρινος κυματοθραύστης, ακολουθώντας την πορέια του περιηγείσσαι στη φωτο.

Kalispera Mpampi! I'm a little late but I congratulate you wholehearted with your 3 years on TE! It has been very nice to know you and to follow you and see your development. And we almost met last year.....well we have three years to try again and I'm sure we will succeed ;-)
You've chosen a lovely harbourscape to celebrate your anniversary. A very dynamic one with the pier diagonally jutting into the picture, full of crisp detail.

I like so many facts about this photograph. the crowded housing means probably that people who live at big cities go to their summer houses on weekends and whole summer. I see both small boats for fishing and one yacht for luxury consumption. variety of objects , at a charming view
