Photographer's Note
This was taken during a trip to the beach during a holiday in Halkidiki, Greece. For those who don't know, Halkidiki consists of three narrow "fingers" pointing into the northern Aegean sea, quite close to the city of Thessaloniki. We were on Kassandra, the most western finger. The middle finger (Sithonia) was the location of a recent EU summit (June 2003) and the eastern finger (Mount Athos) comprises a monastic state which only men can visit after obtaining a permit.
