Marina Harbor, near by the main Kalamata Harbor.
This is another post of the place I relax after work.

Marina is a new upcoming area developed rapidly with cafes, restaurants for your entertainment, food, and relaxation.
Only 5 minutes driving from the center of the city.

- Contrast / Exposure / Custom HDR tone adjustments.
- Soft focus filter to create a misty atmosphere over layer (blending mode = lighten) up to a point that does not disturb the viewers eye.

Εξαιρετική φωτογραφία με πολύ όμορφα χρώματα και καταπληκτική ατμόσφαιρα. Πολύ καλή η δουλειά που έκανες με τις αποχρώσεις αλλά και το εφέ της ομίχλης. Η φωτογραφία ξεχωρίζει με την πρώτη ματιά και δημιουργεί όμορφα (και καλοκαιρινά) αισθήματα.

Hi Stelios,
Interesting shot and not very easy to make. I am not that found on the bright spot in the middle but it's not really disturbing. The detail, the colour toning and the clouds in the sky are for me the best part. The more dreamy effect suits the picture well in this toning, you must be a romanticus ;-)
Maybe a bit tight on the right were that ship is been cut-off, but i am the first to admit that this is difficult to be avoided.
Good work on the pp...very nice.

a splendid scenery which is giving special colors to the sky, the sea and a set of shadows to other areas of the picture. The point of view is giving depth to the photo, it is also very well framed. Very interesting note as well.

golden work. :) Completelly understandable you can relax here. It is absolutely adorable. The light is magnificent, scenery wonderful, feeling overwhelming. Front light is superbly managed, so its reflection in water. As from technical point of view as a motive is concerned, capture is superb.

Πολύ ενδιαφέρουσα η δημιουργία σου. Οι χρυσές αποχρώσεις δημιουργούν μια πολύ ρομαντική ατμόσφαιρα.
Να ρωτήσω κάτι, έχω δει φωτογραφίες (αν θυμάμαι καλά από τον PixelTerror, αλλά και άλλους) που αναφέρονται στην χρυσή ώρα, κάτι παρόμοιο με την μπλε ώρα, η δική σου δεν είναι αυτή η περίπτωση έτσι;
Όπως και να 'χει το αποτέλεσμα είναι πολύ καλό.

Your experiment turn out very cool, I love the color, almost like a half color and half sepia tone mix. I love the muted color with golden tone. It's very good photo to begin with. Good sharpness and clarity, composition is good, so you couldn't really go wrong. Good pp info, helpful to some who also want to play with different settings. Thanks

hello Stelios,
"GOLD" does describe best this photo, it actually feels that the scene has been engraved on a well-polished gold plate. I like a lot the shimmering light, especially on the water, and the soft focus filter works really well to create a dreamy mood. place for draydreaming, right? :)
about the bright spot - there's still some detail in it, so it's not too disturbing. and since the photo is about gold, some bright light does not hurt :) excellent photo, my compliments.

What a difference with the original photograph!!! Beautiful work of PP, I like much this gilded environment. A true treat for the eyes. The smoothness of the image is very appreciable in particular on the level of the reflection in the foreground. Beautiful work Stelios, cheer.

Simply beautiful... you know why, and so do I.
A couple of Swedish friends spent a whole winter at Kalamata marina, just in 2007, when that foto is taken. It seems that the boat at the center could be their boat, do you remember which flag it had?

Αυτη εδω η 'χρυση' εκδοση μου ειχε ξεφυγει ομολογω.
Μια απο τις σπανιες χρωματικες τριλογιες με ενα κοινο θεμα εδω στο ΤΕ.
Πραγματικα και αυτη η στιγμη εχει να πει πολλα με το 'χρυσο' της πεπλο να σκεπαζει τα ομορφα σκαρια.
