Photographer's Note

On our way towards the north coast we drove across the desert. It was truly spectacular.
We had spent a day in Egilsstadir, where there are lots of trees (almost a real forest, actually, which the habitants of Egilsstadir are very proud of, but that's another story), flowers, a beautiful lake, and just one hour drive from there we ended up here!

Apparently the landscape changes as fast as the weather on Iceland I discovered.
I was amazed about the colours, the clear, blue sky, the almost shining green grass, the black mountains and the red sand.

So this is a simple composition of nothing at all really, just colours.
Hope you like it.

Forgot the tech stuff :
Scanned (by a developing company = not very good), then I have tried to restore it with some Neat Image to reduse some grain, PS auto levels, cropped, saturation +8 (just to bring out the natural colours), USM, added a frame.
