Photographer's Note
The best way to end a long day trekking through the incredible landscapes of Landmannalaugar is to slip into some hot thermal waters (bathing suits optional), a cold Viking beer in your hand, and party with an international mix of hikers from all over the world.
A good scene to start the weekend with :)

Hello Kristin,
Nice and indeed a great way of ending a trekking (or any) day... Something like a giant (and natural) hot tub.
Kind regards, and have a nice weekend!

Bonjour Kristin,
Je ne suis pas sur que j'aimerais grelotter en groupe dans ces eaux glacées. On voit que plusieurs épaules sont entrées vers l'intérieur. On voit même un peu de fumée qui sort de l'eau.
Amicalement

Hi Kristin,
I imagine the pleasant moment with a bath in hot water in this north country, well presented with all these people and with these fowers in the FG.

Hello Kristin,
Although the days of smoky bars are gone in most parts of Europe, the air must still have been better in this bar than in any regular one, smelling of stale beer. The design is nicer than in most bars too. But where do you get a cold beer in a place like this? Is it actually much closer to civilization than it appears to be?
Kind regards,
Gert

Hello Kristin,
Bathing in nature's hot tubs, has gifted Iceland, and tourists/people looks as enjoy a marvelous experience.
Fine takan the view, a small spouting flow from the side within the rocks is a charming element on the lovely photo. Mingling human's and nature made this pic. so beautiful.
Enjoy a nice weekend,
Ike

Hi Kristin,
It did look a bit strange at first sight as there is so much space in the lake and yet people are somehow sticking together and it is definitely not because it was cold as these are hot springs. In the average pool people would spread around the whole area I would say.
The fact that the clothing is optional adds to the imagination...
Very nice scene and the note which explains it all.
Thanks for sharing it,
M
