Photographer's Note
Photo taken yesterday showing northern lights over mount Esja across from Reykjavík. Right now a solar wind is approaching earth, which means that we can expect more northern lights tonight, and at far more southern latitudes than Iceland and Scandinavia... For more information go to this website.

This is really a such a wonderfull phenomen, and you captured it very well. Congratulations! It's a very nice and colourfull picture.
Yeah, I heard on the news about it, but it was at 3 o' clock in the morning wasn't it? I also wanted to make a picture of the northern light, but they said on televion that you need special glasses, which I don't have, so I thought: well I am just going to sleep. But it seems I missed something really extraordinary! Really a pity:(
Back to the picture: bravo for the good result!

Absolutely stunning shot Fredrik. I have only seen this a couple of times and have never ever managed to capture it. This shot really shows the phenomena to it's fullest beauty. The reflections on the sea are just another highlight of a great piece of work.

Very well done Fredrik. The sky and the mountains are very well captured. I saw 3 times polar lights in Norway... it's very amazing. I noted your "photo infos" for the next time I go to the hight latitudes.
