I know, that is impossible to say, and for all icelandics, please excuse me, I do not have the accents on my computer..
So, that's a magnificent small canyon near Kirkjubaerklaustur, on the road to the Laki. Its lava walls are covered by the fluorescent green moss. On the background, the Eldrhaun lava field.

A thoroughly spectacular location, and a very impressive photograph. The contrast was high, but you've done a good job (I assume mainly in PP) of retaining detail in both the highlights and shadows. In particular, you've achieved plenty of drama in the sky, which could so easily have washed out. But there's a lot of information in RAW files which, if you know how to do it, is retrievable. Clearly you do know how to do it! Good work.

It is not difficult to make a good picture when you have such a landscape!

Now seriously, good composition, great colors, but I have one remark: as you are a little exaggerated in post processing - image is unnaturally sharp..

Bonjour Yves,
Un coin que j'ai vu sous le soleil lors de mon premier périple en Islande. Mais pas simple à prendre en photo sous cet angle car si je me souviens bien on a le soleil en face à cet endroit ! Tiens, je venais d'arriver en Islande pour mon deuxième voyage quand tu as pris cette photo (arrivée le 15), on s'est peut-être croisés sans le savoir !
