Deleted farm, a photo from Snaefellsnessysla, Vesturland

Photographer's Note

I spent one week in August in Iceland, and will show a few photos from there.
This one is from the lovely peninsula Snaefellsnes, northwest of Reykjavik. The farm that typically is located beneath a mountain, was left as it was, some years ago. Something You can see here and there, probably due to the huge finical crisis a few years back.

Hello Goran, the landscape seems almost surreal with such a mix of colours and textures on the mountains.
Very good composition with the 'V' created by the two mountains helping to focus our eyes on the white farmhouse.
Excellent depth of field.

Howdy Goran,

I am attracted to the mountain geology, colorful layers in curving patterns exposed. The white farm house adds mystery to the remote scene.

Hi Goran,
A nice POV on this house and the mountains. They look a little like the ones you can see in Landmannalaugar. I love the road that guides our look from the foreground.
