The road between Egilsstađir and Reykjahlíđ. It's so deserted that you won't see anything by the road for long kilometers, except for a bunch of sheep (yes, you can find sheep even here). However this area is rich in volcanic foramtions as you can see in the picture, the higher ones have snowcaps on the top.

The threatening mood of the landscape is fantastic and makes the road seem almost ominous. Beautiful light all across the photo, the way it bounces off the black road is very cool

I like the long road and the curving end of the road.
A lovely contrast picture with the dark mountains.
Also the imminent sky makes impression.
