Photographer's Note
View from the top of the Laki volcano. Here is the south view of the Lakagigar volcanic fissure produced during one of the biggest icelandic eruption in 1783.
It is known to be one of the factors of the french revolution because of its atmospheric effects. The gazes were carried in the Northern Hemisphere and caused cooling and acid rains that damaged cultures making people more hungry.

Hi Jean Luc!
You've achieved a fantastic theatre of lights here. The view is stunning! I like the atmosphere which is a bit mysterious thans to the dimness of surroundings.
Great composition!
Cheers!

Hi Jean Luc,
Great composition. A wonderful mix of colors and light. The green tones contrasting with the dark ground is amazing. You've achieved an outstanding depth of field with a great saturated sky.
Going to Iceland is one of my dream trips.
Well done

Hi, Jean Luc!
Wonderful landscape! Interesting contrast colours and light. But I don't like bus and car in the left corner.
I hope to be in Iceland next summer.

Bonjour.

Hello Jean Luc,
Without the coach and car it could be a post from outer space. Very well done - fantastic colours. TFS Thomas

Wow, the light and the colors of the photo are great. I like the bus and the car in the lower left hand corner too, because it helps put everything into proportion.
