Photographer's Note
Baltimore is located in western County Cork, Ireland. Baltimore is the principal village of the parish of Rath and the Islands, the southernmost parish in Ireland. It is the main ferry port to Sherkin Island, Cape Clear Island and the eastern side of Roaring Water Bay (Loch Trasna) and Carbery's Hundred Isles.
One of the most notable landmarks in the area is the Baltimore Beacon, also known as Lot's Wife. Towards the end of July 1847, Commander James Wolfe, R.N., informed the Ballast Board that he had recently completed a survey of Baltimore Harbour and noticed the destruction of the Beacon on the eastern point of the southern entrance to the harbour.

Hello Monika
A beautiful scenery
The gray threatening sky matches well with the warm colors of the land
Well classically composed with the white edifice at the right place and very eye catching in your compo

Hello Monika,
This is a great photo. The white tower looks fantastic against the dark sky and there are many beautiful colours among the grass in the foreground. I also like the small white building on top of the distant hill.
Kind regards,
Gert

Howdy Moonika,
Indeed your Irish vision combines varying green hues and warm colors, in fine resolution and depth of field.
And the overcast sky and correct metering enhances the vision.
Well done,
Cheers,
Ray

Allô Monica!
Très jolie paysage et excellente perspective. Un beau tableau que tu nous présentes dans un bel éclairage malgré un ciel nuageux. La végétation est très intéressante, les rochers sont magnifiques et il y a la tour qui attire l'attention. Beau travail.
Tous mes compliments,
Emilius

Hello Monika,
This is a beautiful shot with so much much content. Under a distressed sky, there are the rolling hills, the brilliant rust and gold colors, the beacon on the hill, and finally the sea itself. I had frequently wondered about the origin of the name Baltimore. (There may have been a Lord Baltimore.) Of course, Baltimore is the most prominent city in the State of Maryland.
Warm regards,
Bulent

Hi Monika!
Another beautiful and interesting scenery. The composition is beautiful, as always! What is that white thing towards the right? Is that the beacon? If it is, it is really interesting, I wonder what it is it made of? Great capture. The Grey and storm clouds creates a nice effect on the image, a great contrast to the nice glow of the earth. The clouds are a bit noisy though, I guess reducing the noise through PS would help.
all the best,
Matt
