Fusiliers Arch commerates the war dead at the entrance to St Stephens Green Park Dublin 2
Stephens Green originally a commons outside of the "Pale"(Walls of the City) and was laid out in plots 1663 and as a public park by Lord Ardilaun in 1880 it was also used for public hangings and whippings in the 1800s
Statues in the park include Wolf Tone (Blown up 1979 and restored), Robert Emmet, Lady Laura Gratten also Free concerts are held here and there is a good floral display including old dublin street lights.
