Photographer's Note
This is Dublin's best known bridge, the Ha'penny Bridge over the river Liffey. It used to be called the Liffey bridge but was later renamed. The new name comes from the fact a half-penny fee was charged to cross the bridge up until 1919.

Dear Tommy,
I remember the effort in putting the light fixtures that illuminate the delicated iron structure of the bridge, we had 2 barges in order to work properly. But after months of work I never had the opportunity to take a picture of my work, so you can imagine how happy I am to see the beautiful picture you have taken of the refection of the bridge in the water of the Liffey. The Ha'penny bridge was in bad shape and lighting help in restoring it to is present state. See lighting can also help sustaining a bridge.
Regard
Duilio
